We are looking for a Full Stack Engineering Intern to join the Engineering team at Upsta Analytics. You will work across React frontend and Python backend development, contributing to a live multi-tenant analytics and AI SaaS platform. This hands-on role provides exposure to production software, APIs, databases, testing, and modern engineering practices under structured mentorship.

• Build and improve React components for dashboards, forms, and analytics views.
• Integrate REST APIs with authentication, error handling, and loading states.
• Implement and test Python REST API endpoints.
• Design ORM models and write database migrations.
• Optimize SQL queries and run the full stack using Docker Compose.
• Write frontend and backend unit tests.
• Fix production bugs and support multi-tenant request scoping.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.
• Understanding of React components, hooks, and client-side routing.
• Python 3.10+ and strong data-structure fundamentals.
• SQL and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of REST API design and consumption.
• Familiarity with Git and at least one full-stack or portfolio project on GitHub.
• TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, MUI, FastAPI, Django REST Framework, Docker, Recharts, or D3 are a plus.
• Strong communication, curiosity, and willingness to learn from code reviews.
